 THE 9.13 - Short Film - Drama
Based on the short story 'The 9.13' by Martin
Naparsteck. Directed By Matthew Phipps.
He calls
himself Thunder, dresses rough and talks tough but we can see its all part
of his ‘little man’ syndrome. Thunder rides the nine o’clock train which
has been delayed by thirteen minutes, thus the title of the film. The only
other person in the cabin with him is Joe, a timid simpleton who just wants to be left alone, but Thunder is all over him like a puppy wanting to play. At
first Thunder’s antics seem harmless enough, however his racial slurs directed toward the conductor
hint at something more sinister.

short film based on the children's classic by Mary and Elizabeth Durack. It is a
story about a young boy Kookanoo who has his
first lesson in adulthood when he is challenged by his father to catch a
kangaroo. Proud little Kookanoo is humbled by
wise old Kangaroo in a charming story about family and the lessons of
childhood.
